I visited my mentor today (and we ended up in a 23+ bar eating free pizza :P) and somehow he ended up on my website, and proceeded to go through every single page of photos and tell me how much he appreciates my talent and really enjoys my work

he pointed out that, as he’s said before, I have a “fresh eye” and he kept motioning to the photos he really liked. it was a little nerve-wracking, having to sit there and watch him critique me, but it was also really nice

anyway, he said that this set was his favorite out of all of them, and I decided to look back over them

it’s been a year since I shot this, and there are so many things I would have done differently now that I look back at it, but I’m still really pleased with this shoot, the first one with any sort of idea
